Al Johara Property
Riads, Ramparts, Borjs, Pavilions, Villa Palais, these are some of the names of our fabulous Al Johara properties. The actual properties are described separately, but they contain some exciting and unique traditional Moroccan features which we should like to explain to you as follows.
- Courtyard/garden – An internal open landscaped area within a property or enclosed by a high wall, often including a beautiful water feature.
- Loggia – A covered area within a property with one or more sides open to the outside. Loggias are an extension of the living areas.
- Terrace – A paved external area usually at ground level, part pergola covered in some instances.
- Balcony – Some Al Johara properties have balconies – external tiled areas to upper floors.
- Cour – A small external paved and walled courtyard often used as a utility area.
