Al Johara means the Jewel - of the fabled 'Red City' of Marrakech. Our choice of architect to do justice to the potential of its name and to the idyllic Al Johara location was critical. We were fortunate enough to be able to commission the famous award-winning Marrakech architect Elie Mouyal.
His designs are fabulous and the Al Johara property names such as Riad, Rampart and Borj are evocative of the old walled city of Marrakech which has clearly influenced their appearance.
Al Johara is set just 300 metres off the old road from the centre of Marrakech to the Atlas Mountains. Although only 20 minutes from the centre of the city, the views of the mountains, which are snow-capped for 5 months of the year, are stunning. The development totals 535 properties on 62 hectares (156 acres).
If you like what you see here, why not accept our invitation to come to Marrakech to visit Al Johara, it’s only around 3 hours flying time from the UK.
